About Tim:
Local campaigner Tim Pickstone is our Liberal Democrat candidate in the Longtown Ward (Cumberland Council) and Longtown and the Border ward (Carlisle City Council by-election). Tim lives Penton, right in the heart of the ward and is working hard to ensure the area recieves it's fair share of local services and investment.
Tim is campaigning for:
- Better and safer roads, ensuring potholes are fixed
- Rural connectivity; a bus service in Rockcliffe and investing in communications
- Protecting our local countryside - no big housing or industrial developments
- Investing in Sustainable energy and transport options
- Empowering local decision making within parish and town councils
