Her work experience includes:

  • Land-agent based at Carlisle's Livestock Auction for 22 years
  • Part-time Professor at the University of Cumbria
  • Board member of Natural England.

As Board Member of Natural England, Julia brought together farmers and conservationists to deliver better outcomes for all on England's Uplands.

Julia is a Carlisle Resident

Julia lives in the Carlisle constituency with her husband Charles and two teenage children. Like many residents of Carlisle, both Julia's children were born at the Cumberland Infirmary.

Julia is an Active Member of the Cumbrian Community
